The Children’s Academy (TCA) Early Learning and Childcare Centre was founded on a vision to inspire young minds by giving children the best possible learning experience through our exceptional quality early learning programmes. Our role in enacting a balanced range of age-appropriate pedagogies involves deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful decision making and actions to promote children’s innate drive for independent learning.
OUR APPROACH
At The Children’s Academy, our teaching approach for every growth stage is designed to work holistically with the child’s own abilities at that point of their development. Hence, our aim is to adopt the most suitable age-appropriate pedagogies in the early years to suit different stages of young learners.
Provides opportunities for children to actively and imaginatively engage with people, objects and the environment. As children re-create experiences and enact new play possibilities narrative and oral language skills are developed.
Instruction-based is a step-by-step, lesson-by-lesson approach to teaching which is scripted and follows a pre-determined skill acquisition sequence.
Individualized learning is a method of teaching in which content, instructional technology and pace of learning are based upon the abilities and progress of each individual learners.
